About Ylmaz
Ylmaz Erd is a German with Kurdish roots whose parents immigrated to Germany in the 80s. He grew up in Hannover and after completing school he completed his community service, did a degree in sales, studied mathematics and economics while working as a teacher and volunteer work for refugee children.
Ylmaz's Early Life

Since his childhood he has had a strong connection to nature and has always sought after adventures. Further he discovered a passion for sports and played football and other sports for many years.
This combination of being connected to nature and enthusiastic about sports has had various impacts on his life. It motivated him to embrace new challenges and push his boundaries. Additionally it led to a deep understanding and appreciation for the environment, fostering a strong environmental consciousness and driving him to actively advocate for the protection of nature.
During his studies he decided to take a break and went from 2018 - 2020 on a 2-year journey through Asia and Australia. On this journey he discovered a passion for capturing the beauty of nature, cultures and animals through videos and pictures and pursued his adventurous spirit by hiking. After his return, he decided to abandon his studies and follow the path of an explorer, aiming to convey the message that human right, biodiversity and the planet protection through his expeditions. Since then he refers to himself as the "Ambassador of the Earth."
